Nicky has over a decade of experience as an international hostage and crisis negotiator. She was part of a dedicated, elite team of six people, working for the Metropolitan Police, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and national Negotiation Working Group, overseeing the UK's response to domestic and international hostage and crisis situations.

In 2013 she became the first female Director of Negotiation Training and travelled the world teaching negotiation and communication skills to police officers and military personnel.

She now runs her own businesses, employing eleven people and sharing the lessons she learnt as a negotiator to help others improve their lives.
